Boots Botanics All Bright Eye Makeup Remover
Boots Botanics All Bright Eye Makeup Remover - £3.99
Just a quick review on a new make up remover I picked up in Boots the other day. I've seen alot about the Boots Botanics range recently and as they currently have a third off of their products I thought I'd give them a try.
This is made up of two components, a light part and a dark part, and they have to be fully shaken together before you use it. Now it is really good at taking off make up, including waterproof mascara. However I find this product much too oily for my skin. Once used to take off my make up I feel like its just sitting on top of my skin. Also under the lid it is just an open bottle top, making it hard to limit the amount that actually comes out onto the cotton pad.
I am going to keep using the rest of this product, but I wont be repurchasing it! I do have another product from Boots Botanics to try out though so I'm not going to write off the whole range on one product!
Have any of you used this product?

Boho Maxi
Sunglasses - £10.00 - River Island Top - £6.99 - H&M Skirt - £7 - Miss Selfridge (Sale) Shoes - £28 - Topshop Ring - Topshop Necklace - Kukee
So I didn't do much today, just enjoyed the rest of the sunshine. I picked this skirt up from Miss Selfridge in the Autumn sales last year, and this is only about the 3rd time I've worn it. Don't know why! You can't tell that well from the pictures but the flowery layer is slightly sheer and there's a short black bodycon underlayer. Sets it aside a bit from your usual maxi skirt!
The Topshop studded shoes were a christmas present from Joe and I love them. They are suede though so they're looking a bit worse for wear now where I have scuffed them, but they still add an edge to most outfits. They are so comfortable and at £28 I think they are really reasonably priced for what you get.

Sunshine and Raybans
Top - £10.00 - Topshop (similar here) Skirt - River Island (no longer available) Socks - £3.50 - Topshop Converse - Turkish market stall Belt - £1 - Primark Necklace - Kukee Raybans - replicas - Turkish market stall
Had a day off of work on Sunday for what felt like the first time in ages! The sun was still out so I was able to get my pale wee legs out. I spent the day with Joe, sunbathing in the garden and having lunch at the pub.
Anyway, onto the outfit .... I've had this skirt for a while now and I love it! I saw it on a mannequin when I was walking into River Island but they didn't have it in my size on the rail. So of course I pestered one of the shop staff to check the mannequin and give me the skirt off of that. Such a hassle for them (sorry!) but worked out well for me! I think it was only about £20 because I remember thinking it was a really reasonable price for a River Island skirt. I love it on but haven't worn it that much. I keep forgetting its in my wardrobe. I need to sort that out!
The t-shirt is just one of Topshops basic range. Brilliant colour and shape. It's so easy to throw on with anything - skirts, shorts and jeans. Its got a kind of mottled effect on it, so some parts are see through and some aren't. If that makes any sense!
Went Shopping #1
I spent too much money in boots again today. Typically, all of my cosmetics tend to run out at the same time. So I had to buy new mascara, liquid eyeliner, white eyeliner, and make up remover all at once. I've heard really good stuff about the boots organics range so I'm excited to try the bits that I bought! I bought a repairing nail polish for my nails too. Because I paint them so much they've started to become discoloured and flaky under my coats of coloured nailpolish! So I'm trying to give them a break for a bit and I'm hoping this repairing formula will breathe some life back into them!
H&M has some lovely items in just now. I treated myself to some new underwear because it's been a while since I got some new pieces. I always find H&M underwear really good prices for the quality that you get. Definitely one of my favourite underwear high street brands. I also picked up these high waisted maroon skinny trousers for just a tenner. Can't say no!
I saw these boots in primark and uuhmed and aaahed about whether to get them or not. I decided to think about it and come back for them. I ended up spending my money elsewhere though but I'm regretting not going back for these! They were only £15 and the more I look at this picture the more I want them.
Hopefully they'll still be there next time I'm in!
That's all I bought today, apart from birthday pressies for my flatmate, but she's probably reading this so I wont post about them .... (hia morv)

Lumberjack
Ombre Jeans - £40 - Topshop
Knitted Vest - £22 - Topshop
Shirt - £28 - Topshop (similar here)
Boots - £45 - Topshop
Hair Cuff and Ring - H&M
Necklace - Kukee
This is just a casual outfit I wore out shopping today. Looking at it written out it makes me look like a right Topshop junkie! I do shop in other places too, I swear!
I actually brought these jeans and shirt for myself as a 'congratulations, exams are over' present to myself. I literally LIVE in these jeans. They are so comfortable and keep their shape so well. Plus the ombre design on them makes them stand out from the day-to-day blue jean. Topshop jeans are quite expensive in my eyes (on a students budget anyway!) but they're definitely worth the investment. I usually get about a years wear out of mine until they start to fall apart, and that's with them being worn on a really regular basis! The shirt is just one of those wardrobe basics that is easily thrown on for a simple outfit.
The knitted vest top used to have a gold foil cross right across the front, but after the first time I washed it all that was left was a tiny hint of glitter. I'm not entirely sure if it was the quality of the top, or just that I didn't wash it correctly, but still, pretty gutting!
Last but not least, my new favourite shoes! Id been wanting a pair of heeled chelsea boots for a while, but didn't want to pay out the massive £80 price tag for the ones that Topshop had. Lucky for me they bought in a pair almost half price. These go with anything and everything and they've barely been off my feet since I bought them!
Hope you've all had a happy monday!

Simple Peplum
Peplum Top -£18 - Topshop Shorts - £10 - River Island Sale
Necklace & gold bangle - Kukee Watch - £25 - River Island Skull bangle - Topshop
Anyway, this is what I wore out on my second night out of my weekend in edinburgh. We went to vodka rev, which turned out to be having a sixties themed night. It was a good laugh.
I picked up this Topshop peplum top on a recent trip to Glasgow. It's so easy and versatile to wear with anything, and I personally find the peplum style really flattering. It pulls you in at the waist and then flares out over your hips. At £18 I'm debating going back and buying more in other colours!
These shorts were a steal in the river island sale (£10!!). As soon as I saw the pattern I was sold. It has a green leafy pattern with gold chain print on some parts. Not that you can see that very well in these pictures, sorry! They're quite short, so I don't have the nerve to wear them without black tights, but they're so cute that I'm OK with that.
To find out more about Kukee jewellery I did a post here on them. Definitely worth a visit to their online shop.
Im gonna go back to watching the closing ceremony now but here's a few extra pictures of my night ...
Hope you've all enjoyed your sunday!
Love Kirsty xo
